Compared to recent UK Printwear and Promotion exhibitions this trade exhibition is a completely different beast. The major differences between PSI and Printwear and Promotion are:
1. Size
This exhibition is huge with hundreds of exhibitors covering 5 halls. After 3 days at the exhibition I was really glad I had invested in my Boots gel filled insoles.
2. Not just for Printers and Embroiderers
The variety of products on offer is huge. This exhibition covers all promotional products not just clothing allied items. There was everything you could think of from scarves, phone covers, flags, pens to branded water and biscuits. If you want to find an unusual promotional product this exhibition would be the place to come.
3. The Major Promotional Clothing Brands.
At last an exhibition with all the major brands under one roof. Unfortunately you have to go all the way to Germany to see them. All the majors were there: Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Gildan and Russell. In addition the smaller brands such as Continental and Kustom Kit and JHK Trader were also present. Rather than putting all the promotional clothing suppliers in one hall they were spread throughout the exhibition making going stand to stand a rather time consuming affair
.4. No Printing Or Embroidery Machine suppliers.
Unlike Printwear and Promotion there didn’t seem to be any presence from any T-shirt printing equipment suppliers or embroidery machine suppliers. However there were suppliers of pad printing equipment (for Pens and other promotional products) .
If you want to be at the leading edge of the T-shirt printing and embroidery industry this is a great show to see all leading T-shirt, polo-shirt andsweatshirt suppliers under one roof, but be prepared for the walk !!
