I have purchased a hoodie from polo-shirts on a previous occasion and am very happy with it. So I decided to buy another for myself and a bright pink one for my wife. However, I was somewhat surprised to find that my new blue one zipped up on the ladies side and my wifes pink one zipped up on the man's side which I thought was very odd. When I ordered it didn't occur to me to make sure I was buying male or female versions. Whilst we can both live with it I was more amused than anything that a bright pink hoodie would be likely to be worn by a man? It would be nice if online sellers would show the full price including VAT rather than add it on at the checkout stage! It makes quite a difference to the perceived value.

The hoody was thinner than expected and the sizing was skimpy rather than full which you would expect from a XXL

I heeded the claims about Gildan's generous sizing and ordered medium instead of large. Wish I hadn't. Although the hoodie fit's it is rather snug and the body of the garment feels a bit short. Quality isn't what I'd expected after my experience with the polo shirts. The hoodie material is a bit thin and I think I would rather pay a bit more for something a bit sturdier. To any prospective buyer I'd say stick with your true size but I wouldn't recommend this item.

I received this hoody with in 72 hours of placing my order. The colour is gorgeous, a true red, and fortunately it is generously sized, and as I am too this is good. I will be back. I will also recommend this wonderful company to my friends and family, you are very reasonably priced and the service you give is second to none.

I've had some trouble with hoodies losing shape the first time I wash them, so the first thing I did when I received my Gildan hoody was wash it and tumble dry it. It kept its shape and the zip did not curl. It's the first Gildan hoody I've bought, but I've bought quite a few t-shirts and I anticipate that the overall quality of stitching, fabric durability and dye will be similar. Gildan is a great brand that is priced very competitively.
